Enjoy the spirit of Christmas present

Enjoy the spirit of Christmas present
With the cold temperatures and the help of a snow machine, the La Vernia City Park is transformed Dec. 7 into a winter wonderland, just in time for the Greater La Vernia Parks Foundation’s “Spirit of Christmas” tree lighting. See more photos of this and other area holiday events on page 8B.

It’s beginning to look ...and feel ...a lot like Christmas in La Vernia!

The season was ushered in last Tuesday evening by the La Vernia Angels with their “Evening with Santa” at St. Ann Catholic Church and on Saturday with the Greater La Vernia Parks Foundation’s 19th annual “Spirit of Christmas” tree-lighting event. Folks flocked to the La Vernia City Park to frolic in the snow and meet friends and neighbors. (Spot your friends and neighbors at these events on page 8B!)

More opportunities to celebrate close to home are just around the corner.
