And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Jesus exposed a God that is never limited to natural methods when it came to providing for the needs of His people. Jesus never panicked when a crowd of people stopped by unexpectedly for lunch. He didn’t get discouraged if the fishing business was bad or if taxes had to be paid. Jesus knew that each situation He encountered was just another opportunity for God to be glorified. Jesus taught us God’s multiplication plan in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again.”
It is God’s desire to multiply you with such abundance that it is running over and spilling onto others.
God sent His Son, Jesus, to bring this message to the world. We know that God’s Word cannot change and it will not return void. It will accomplish that which He sent it to do. God will have a generation that will receive His promise and welcome this day “when salvation and the favor of God abound greatly” (Luke 4:19).
Are you ready to receive His promises? Are you missing something in your life? Allow Jesus to fill that void for He has promised you, “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
