The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public to locate Lee Arms, 44, of Falls City, missing since Sunday night, Feb. 5.
Arms, a 1991 graduate of La Vernia High School, was on his way to work from his home in Falls City, but reportedly never made it.
Deputies responded to a call Monday morning about an abandoned car left running in the vicinity of Loop 1604 and Schuwirth, between F.M. 1346 and I-10 in eastern Bexar County. The vehicle was Arms’ silver Ford Fusion.
Numerous units from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office searched for Arms all day Monday, with assistance from a Texas Department of Public Safety DPS helicopter, but did not locate him.
“We are investigating the case as a missing person and need tips from the public,” said Rosanne Hughes with the sheriff’s office.
Arms is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, and has graying black hair that is thinning, and light brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a bright red Budweiser jacket, cargo pants, and a T-shirt. He was still missing as of press time Feb. 7.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 210-335-6070, or Heidi Search Center at 210-650-0428 or 1-800-547-4435.
