The mightiness of His love

A message from our loving and Heavenly Father: “I love you!” “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Wow! What love!

But the Holy Word says that all have sinned and fallen short and are therefore separated from God. Now let’s look at God’s love and His desire to be with all of us, all the time.

Romans 3:23 tells us, “for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” How then do we claim God’s love when we have sinned and fallen short? In Romans 5:8 we have the promise, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Again, wow!

God’s love goes completely beyond our understanding but we can rejoice in His love and turn to Him in every way, every day.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” This beautiful message of love comes to us from the Savior in John 14:6 and this promise is beautiful beyond belief. Jesus is the way, and He is the way to our loving and Heavenly Father.

And in Ephesians 2:8-9 we have this beautiful promise of salvation, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Let’s turn to God and claim His promise that He sent His Son to take our sins away and bring us into the saving grace of God.

Love is reigned upon us by our Lord above,

On to our hearts; daily sent by the Dove.

Visiting us each moment with His gentle heart,

Eternally in God’s care; never to be apart.
