Always claiming His exaltation

As we reflect on Jesus’ love during Lent, let’s look at Christ Jesus, our Savior and Lord. In Hebrews 1:3, we have the following: “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”

How we can rejoice in these words; Jesus Christ provided purification for sins for all of us, Praise His Name.

In Isaiah 9:6-7 we have the words: “For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.”

“And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church” (Eph. 1:22). We can rejoice in knowing that God’s appointment of Jesus over the Church is another example of the great love of our God and our Savior.

As we reflect on the glorious miracles of God in this time of Lent, we can rejoice in knowing our Savior and Lord, and in John 3:31 we have a promise, “The One who comes from above is above all; the One who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.” Our beautiful Savior is above all and we can dwell in His presence here and in eternity.

“For this reason, Christ died and returned to life so that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living” (Romans 14:9). He is our Lord and upon this we can place our lives, our hope: He is our foundation. Praise the name of the Lord.

Always claiming His exaltation, we read in Philippians 2:9, “Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name.” Let’s also exalt Jesus in our lives, upholding His name in every area of our lives.

Lent is such a beautiful time of reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ’s greatness and let’s continue that time of thinking of Him every day and in every way.

We are told in Rev. 5:12, “In a loud voice, they sang, ’Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!’” Let’s proclaim the Lamb that is more than worthy of our praise.
