Today is the day we give thanks

She had interviewed me earlier this year concerning the events at the high school and wanted to know how the community was reacting to what has turned out to be a rough year. The hazing issue, Hurricane Harvey, and the Sutherland Springs shootings have shocked our innocence and sense of safety. Thanks in troubled times

Jeremiah, a prophet who wrote during the closing days of the Kingdom of Judah, struggled to find meaning during the time of the destruction of the Temple. Despite all that he saw, Jeremiah expressed deep faith that God is the living water that sustains us all.
